About Us :
We Leos, youth-wing of Lions Club Of Calcutta Paradise were inaugurated on 5th of May 2003. Since our inception, we have undertaken several projects in the fields of service, self-development, fellowship and have coordinated activities to create a clear image of Leoisim within the community. Giving various opportunities to the Leos to harness themselves and come up with their hidden talents to find the Leader within, our club has excelled in all fields, the key being a sound & efficient administration and the ever showering support & guidance from our Parent Club, the District & fellow Leo Clubs. It's a pleasure to bring to picture the success of the very 1st leoistic year 2003-04 of our club, Leo Club of Calcutta Paradise Star Circle, which has been awarded the Most Coveted Award "INTERNATIONAL EXCELLENCY" for the said year.
PERMANENT PROJECT :- From 2nd August 2003, members have been visiting the inmates of the Old Age Home "Little Sister of The Poor" on A.J.C.Bose Road, Kolkata, every week, to comfort them & lessen their solitaire by passing sometime with them, serving them food & helping the authority by cleaning & washing the utensils._____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ SIGNATURE PROJECT :- Inaugurated on 30th of August' 03, the club's "Homeo Clinic" at Howrah, runs every Wednesday, and provides free aid and medicine to the needy. Till date more than 1240 cases have been examined & being situated in a slum area, it has highly benefited the local & neighboring residents. It's the only Clinic run by the Leos & adds to the glory of our Dist.
